Baked Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

  • Chicken wings

  • Salt

Instructions:

  • Preheat a convection oven or air fryer to 220C or 450F

  • Salt wings generously and lay out in a single layer

  • Bake until golden brown and delicious. If freezing bake until just turning brown.

  • Eat immediately or freeze.

  • To reheat microwave until fully defrosted and then place in toaster oven or air fryer for 5 minutes to recrisp the surface.

Provided you can source very fresh chicken wings this is a great option for a more flavorful and texturally interesting single ingredient recipe as opposed to boiled chicken. Because of the high fat content of wings they will essentially fry in their own fat for extremely crispy yums with no variable of adding an oil. It should be noted that baking does produce slightly higher histamine levels than boiling.
