San Francisco Garlic Noodles

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of fettuccine or spaghetti

  • 7 cloves garlic

  • 4 tablespoons butter

  • 4 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 tablespoons coconut aminos

  • 1 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 2 tablespoons cooking wine

  • 1/2 bunch scallions

Instructions

1. Boil water, salt well

2. Mix sauce: coconut aminos, brown sugar, cooking wine and set aside

3. Chop scallions seperating white and green. Chop garlic.

4. Boil pasta for 1 min less than box cooking time

5. While pasta is boiling melt butter with olive oil and fry garlic and white part of scallions until just becoming fragrant

6. Pull pasta directly into pan with garlic using tongs (transfering pasta water to the pan)

7. Add the sauce and cook until most liquid clings to pasta

8. Mix in green part of scallions

9. Eat!
